COSTS AND BENEFITS OF NON-SURGICAL RETREATMENT AND THE NEW ROLE OF SURGICAL APPROACH
In the last years, modern techniques and new instruments have widened the role of endodontic retreatment, making possible to treat and solve complex clinical cases and multiple pathologies. He has worked advanced dental implant surgery in Copenhagen University Hospital (Rigshospitalet), in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1994. He received the title of Professor, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000. He works currently in Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Because of his international scientific studies, received a certificate of appreciation from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1998. He is chief editor of the Journal of Dental Turkish group and The British Dental Journal’s Turkey's consultant. He is a member of national Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Turkish Association of Oral Surgery, Turkish Dental Association and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The International Association as international professional associations. He made the presidency of the International Dental Congress called “Dental Istanbul” in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, Journal of Turkish Dental International Scientific Congress in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Also, He is a founding member of Istanbul University, Physical Education and Sports School. He published numerous scientific research and presentations in international dental congresses. He has been presented also a lot of works as presentation in the conferences. And he organized a planty of dental implant courses and worked as course adviser in Turkey and international. SOFT TISSUE MANAGEMENT AROUND IMPLANTS IN ESTHETIC ZONE
The ongoing development of implant therapy constantly reveals examples of how the quality and quantity of peri-implant soft tissues are the key elements when it comes to achieving top results especially in the esthetic zone.
Furthermore, natural and harmonious results around dental implants located in the esthetic zone are calls for preservation and sometimes the reconstruction of the soft tissue. Effective surgical techniques for soft tissue management around implants in the esthetic zone have been developed and should be implemented in every clinician’s treatment spectrum.

Dr. N. Cem Yıldız graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. He made his doctorate study that is “The Effects of Different Surgical Methods Applied to Gingiva on The Elimination Of Melanin Pigmentation” and graduated his PhD program in 2007 at Gazi Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology.
He is an international speaker at International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI), and Study Club Coordinator of the ITI Turkey and Azerbaijan Section. He is an active member at European Federation of Periodontology and Turkish Periodontology Association. He is also a board member of Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
He has various local and foreign papers especially periodontal regeneration, periodontal esthetic and dental implantology. He is attending to various local and international scientific meetings as a guest speaker and giving courses in oral implantology and periodontology.

PROSTHETIC SOLUTIONS WITH IMPLANT SUPPORTED IN EDENTULOUS PATIENTS
Nowadays, oral implantology, in which the conditions closest to nature are obtained, has come to the forefront in the treatment of tooth deficiencies. Overdenture prosthesis or implant supported fixed prosthesis options are available in mandibular and maxillary edentulous patients. The factors that determine the method of the treatment of these patients are their clinical situation, bone type, need of soft tissue support, their demands and financial situation. Soft and hard tissue defects due to trauma or tumor removal surgery cannot be successfully treated with a conventional prosthesis. Patients with hemimandibulectomy or the patients who have other maxillofacial surgery can be successfully treated with implant-supported overdenture prostheses.
In this presentation, treatment planning and prosthetic options for implant-supported prosthesis applications in edentulous patients will be explained in detail.
Prof. Dr. Özgür İnan

He was born in 1967 in Adana. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Mersin. He entered in Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 1985 and graduated in 1990 as a dentist. In 1990, he started to work in Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Prosthetic Dental Treatment and his doctoral studies in 1991. His career started as a research assistant officially.
In 1997 he completed his PhD dissertation titled “Evaluation of the Effects of Restorative Materials Used for Occlusal Surfaces of Implant-Supported Prostheses on Force Distribution” and received his title as a science doctor.
In 1998 he was appointed as a lecturer at Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and as an Assistant Professor in 1999. In 2000 he completed all stages of Associate Professor exam successfully and was appointed as a Professor in 2006. He is currently the President of Prosthetic Dentistry Department.
He has been the President of Ankara Branch of Turkish Society of Prosthodontics and Implantology between the dates of 2012-2014. He is still the Members of EPA (European Prosthetic Organization) and IADR (International Association of Dental Researches), Fellow of ITI (International Implantology Team). He is married and father of two children.

Dr. Marc Regrain graduated in 1977 with a technical degree and received his dental milling operator training at the same year. He started his university education at Clermont Ferrand Dentistry University in 1979 and graduated in 1985. In 1987 he completed her pedodontics at Paris V University and implants specializing in Implantology at Paris EIP University.
He worked as a maxillofacial surgeon at the University of Clermont Ferrand between 1984-85. Since 1985, he has been practicing in pedodontics and implants. Since 2018, he is an consultant speaker at BRAT implant company.

The applications of Piezoelectric technology in many specialty of Bone Surgery are well documented in literature and give us the demonstration of the quality in term of precision in cutting bone, reduction of the morbidity and better healing process (histological and biomolecular analysis).

He is a professor of prosthodontics with tenure university position mainly for education/research at Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Hacettepe University, and maintaining clinical practice at his private office at Ankara.
He is an associate editor of The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants and an editorial board member of Journal of Dentistry and Medical Engineering & Physics. He is an ITI (International Team for Implantology) Fellow.
He integrates educational and research expertise in the field of Dental implantology, digital dentistry and evidence based dentistry with daily clinical practice skills.
His focus of interest is optimization of CAD/CAM technology use in treatment planning and clinical practice of teeth/implant supported fixed prosthesis both in esthetic and functional zone.
Tonguç Sülün was born in İstanbul in 1969. He graduated from İstanbul High School in 1987 and graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1992. After graduation, he started with the PhD studies and receives his Dr Med. Dent. degree in 1999. He received his associate professor degree from the department of prosthodontics in 2007 and professor degree in 2014. Dr. Sülün continues to his studies as lecturer at the same university.
Dr. Sülün has worked as guest instructor and dentist at Munich Maximilian University in 1997-1998. He has 55 scientific articles which 25 of them published in international journals. He is author of 4 chapters in an international book and 3 chapters in two books which are published in Turkish.
Prof. Dr. Ami Smidt DMD, MSc, BMedSc
Professor Ami Smidt is a faculty member at The Hebrew University-Hadassah, School of Dental Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel in the Department of Prosthodontics and a member of Alpha Omega.
He received his D.M.D. degree and his M.Sc. degree in Oral Microbiology (Cum Laude) from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. As a student he re-activated the Alpha Sigma student chapter and established The Alpha Omega Lending Library for dental students. He completed his prosthodontic studies in the school and became a Diplomat of the Israeli Board of Prosthodontics. Professor Smidt held teaching, research, and clinical positions at this University and headed the Center for Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics for 14 years until last year.
Professor Smidt has published extensively and serves as a member on the editorial review boards of several international journals. He lectures extensively in international forums on topics related to orthodontics for better prosthodontics and esthetic and implant dentistry. His current research focuses on evaluating and improving prosthodontic procedures and on the effect of bleaching materials on teeth structure.
Professor Smidt served as President and Editor of the Israel Society of Prosthodontics, is a member of several professional organizations and a board councilor of The International College of Prosthodontists.
Prof. Smidt maintains a private practice dedicated to prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry in Tel Aviv, Israel.
TIPS AND TRICKS IN READING CONE BEAM COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY(CBCT) AND THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES
Scientific and technological developments in the world have made new perspectives necessary in the field of dentistry. In the light of these developments, conventional diagnostic methods and decision-making processes change rapidly. Firstly, dental volumetric tomography (CBCT) which was developed for diagnostic purposes in maxillofacial field has rapidly gained acceptance in both dentistry and medical field. The importance of correct evaluation of this imaging method has once again become more important as it increases its importance in every branch of dentistry. It is necessary to know how to read dental volumetric tomography at the point where implant applications have become widespread rapidly in our country. Firstly, in developed countries and then at all around the World accepted in 2012 that; the CBCT is the only reliable imaging technique for implant application procedure.
For this reason, dentists in our country who are applying implants need to learn 3D thinking and 3D design as well as conventional radiographic methods as soon as possible.
In our study we will discuss;
After brief information about dental volumetric tomography (CBCT) technology and the voxel structure that makes it superior to medical tomography, it will be shown by comparing the most commonly used Panoramic radiography (2D) to CBCT (3D). For this purpose, we will have the opportunity to examine maxillofacial anatomical structures (foramen mentale, Canalis Mandibularis, SPAA, Lingual Artery, Incisiv Canal, Fossa Mandibularis, Maxillary sinus, Nasal floor, inferior and superior concha nasalis) in each plan by using sample 3D data (Axial-Coronal- Saggittal). In the digital environment, cross-sectional sectioning, implant design application and the points to be considered during partial edentulous patients will be discussed. In addition, the most common mistakes made in CBCT evaluations and the source of these errors will be mentioned.

I was born in 1971 in Hatay. I completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Hatay. I graduated as a dentist from Gazi University, Faculty of Dentistry at 1992. I have graduated in 1998 as a PhD Doctor of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology from Gazi University Institute of Health Sciences. I was worked as academic staff in Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology between 1994-2000. I have more than ten years’ experience on clinical dental practice as a private Clinique in Ankara. Then, I have started to manage professionally a private dental imaging center in Ankara. At the same time, I graduated from the Vocational High School of Justice of Atatürk University at 2017. İn 2018 I started my Oral Pathology PhD program at Gazi University institute of Health science and I am still studying on it.
I have participated more than 100 congresses, fairs, seminars and courses and published over 30 articles, papers and posters in national and international journals have finalized more than 50 seminar presentations on dental imaging developments especially cone beam Computerized tomography(CBCT) and its benefits in dentistry. My Professional interests are technology, knowledge, hardware and software developments in medical and dental imaging and other diagnostic tools. My amateur interests are Medical Hypnosis, interpersonal interactions, communication, Trekking, cycling and traveling as well as nature photographer. I can communicate in English (good), French (intermediate) and Arabic (intermediate). I have memberships of national and international scientific societies in radiology, dental and medical hypnosis. Dr. Evren Sütekin

He was born in 1980 in Izmir. After completing his primary and secondary education, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1998. In the same year, he completed his PhD program in 2011 at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his military task in 2012. While continuing his academic career as a lecturer at the same university he gave up in 2013 and began working as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist in the private sector in Istanbul.
He continues to work as a consultant specialist and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist in various clinics and his own clinic.
